I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
This year, I’ve decided to adopt my own saying, and it’s a combination of Gretzky and Jordan:
I’m will work harder than you!
That’s simply it. I’m dedicated to working hard for my family, employees (whom basically are family), and those businesses that depend on me to help them succeed. Everyday I have the opportunity to make something happen in one way or another. Some days will be more successful than others, learning from each day and interaction is really what’s important.
This year is all about work. Working at being a better father, son, brother, friend, leader and overall person. Everyone has talent, but ability takes hard work. Working hard and smarter is not something that I’m scared of.
