With the end of the year fast approaching, I’ve had some lingering projects that I really need to get off the ground and running. Although I still have “work” to do, there is some free time to push these projects over the hump. There is also an investment in equipment and time that I’d also like to recover.
The first of these projects is TRKR Clothing. I’ve had the domain for a while now, and I’ve purchased a hat press, but I’ve never really did anything with it. I had a girlfriend who was going to break the bank with all her creative ideas, but after I realized she wasn’t creative, the equipment quickly became useless. So my goal is to get my investment dollar out of it.
As you can imagine it’s a website geared towards “Trucker Hats”, which are those mesh hats with foam fronts.
We have various sizes and colors, along with different styles, but the website needs to be OSFA (One Size Fits All). What we are going to build is a standards website, thus it will be using bootstrap and various payment methods. It should contain a blog and various categories, but the most important aspect should be that it’s easy to navigate and search. Visual appeal is the cornerstone to a good design.
My goal is to have this site up and running by January 1st. Which will be a heck of a feat considering it’s December 26th today. I’ll concentrate on the minimum requirements and add the high end bells and whistles as time goes on. I think I can make it, I just wonder how well it will be received and if anyone will buy anything from me. Here goes nothing….
