One of my favorite parts of the holidays is getting to see my daughters in Houston. It’s unfortunate that I don’t get to see them on a daily basis, but the time I do get to spend with them is precious. I’m very fortunate that their mother is a superstar and can manage twins and a career at the same time (and I believe 3 dogs). This year however, I get four straight days with them, and will close the year and start the new year with them. I can’t be more excited!
43 by 43
As the new year approaches, everyone and their brother starts to make New Years resolutions. I’ve never been one of those that needs to wait until the next year to start on a new goal. If I have a goal in mind, I start on it right away. This year is no different, since I’ve been fully committed to losing the extra pounds I put on over the past year, I’m setting a goal for my birthday in April. I want to be 190 pounds, which would be a total weight lose of 43 lbs.
End Of Year Project

With the end of the year fast approaching, I’ve had some lingering projects that I really need to get off the ground and running. Although I still have “work” to do, there is some free time to push these projects over the hump. There is also an investment in equipment and time that I’d also like to recover.
Merry Christmas 2017
It’s amazing what a difference a year can make. This time last year I was absolutely dreading the holidays. This year I was thoroughly looking forward to them. Getting rid of negativity and surrounding ones self with positive and healthy relationships is a great way to look at your life and realize that you can make positive changes in the smallest of ways that will have gigantic outcomes.
How did I do it you may ask? Here are some of the changes I made that allowed me to smile and bring myself joy and not depend on the mood of others to make myself happy.
